Amritpal joined Prasad & Company LLP in 2022 as a Junior Staff Accountant. He has received a Honors Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University (previously known as Ryerson University). In addition, graduated with a Professional Masters Diploma in Accounting from Toronto Metropolitan University (previously known as Ryerson University). Amritpal has completed his CFE in 2022 to further his pursuit of receiving a CPA designation.
Amritpal’s responsibilities at the firm include preparing compilation and review files in regards of the completion of working papers, preparing personal and corporate tax returns which are in compliance with the Income Tax Act while considering effective tax strategies to be implemented, and assistance with other types of projects such as bookkeeping and CRA audits.
Amritpal’s favourite quote is from Kobe Bryant: “Great things come from hard work and perseverance.” The philosophies that guide him in his career are hard work and consistency. Amritpal believes that’s if an individual has great work ethic and is consistent in regard to their end goal, they will achieve their wanted results.
In his spare time, Amritpal likes to learn new things staying active through playing sports and spending time with friends and family.
