Accounting is a career path Jaskirat chose for himself after high school. After completing a Commerce Degree in a senior secondary school in India, he moved to Scotland where he got a Higher National Diploma in Accounting at West Scotland College. Later, Jaskirat obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Accountancy from Birmingham City University. He worked for a couple of years in Scotland before moving to Canada in 2012 for a Post-graduate Diploma in International Business.
Since joining the firm in 2019, Jaskirat has brought countless years of education and experience to Prasad & Company LLP. His responsibilities include extensive bookkeeping, reconciling accounts, preparing, reviewing, auditing, and filing several types of tax, payroll, and government remittances. Using cost-effective techniques, Jaskirat also provides consulting and training on how to improve the accounting process for the team and his clients.
In his free time, he likes to read, write, swim, and travel to new destinations across Canada and abroad.
