Kathiravelu “Suri” Suriyakumaran

Suri joined our firm in 2022 as our newest Senior Assurance and Business Advisory Manager. He received his CA designation from Sri Lanka in 1984 and he went on to receive his CPA, CGA designation in Canada in 2004.

After gaining several years of practical experience in accounting and tax services, Suri has developed a substantial amount of expertise with complex audits, reviews, compilation engagements, tax compliance, payroll compliance, voluntary disclosures, and financial projections. In addition, he works closely with the assurance and tax team members to provide managerial support for special projects such as tax reorganizations, management consulting, owner manager compensation planning, and succession planning.

Suri also gives back to the community by preparing tax returns for senior citizens, which speaks volumes about his character. He works hard for all his clients to ensure that their specific needs are addressed, and values helping others to find favourable solutions.

In his spare time, you can find Suri playing tennis, badminton, or watching his favourite television shows.
